Upskilling yourself during work hours can be tricky, especially if you are a teacher undergoing CPD training.
Our client Competence sought to find the best solution for learners and teachers to provide them with a platform to learn new skills and enhance existing ones that would best help them demonstrate their abilities and knowledge on an ongoing basis without disrupting their day-to-day lives.
The course that was created was a Level 5 called Proteach.
Used by those who already are teachers as well as those looking to pursue this profession.
It helps them develop their skills and provides them access to an online portal where they can learn the course anytime and from anywhere online, at their own pace.
This is made possible by a tracking system that keeps tabs on progress of the learners making it easy to pick up where you left off.
This would help them get to know the ins and outs of the subject and give them vital information such as tips and techniques on what to teach, how to teach and what to avoid teaching.
We were requested to create a trailer to demonstrate the usefulness of the Proteach Level 5 course.
The short film gives you an indication of what is being offered via techniques of script editing and the production of video files that help support the learner’s journey.
The subject specialist, who was a teacher with 30 years of experience, wrote the course material effectively and professionally, this then helped us translate it into a production script with ease.
This compilation is a sample of the video learning comprising various short video clips.
It includes different presenters speaking directly into a camera, creating engagement with the learner.
Clips, animation and various footage were also included accompanied by voice-over-led pieces that illustrated the subject matter.
